One of the products
of mechanization and expanded buying power has been the gradual
replacement of family-centered processes such as food production,
entertainment, education, religious training, child-rearing,
and socialization with market solutions. Many of the consequences
of this replacement such as the loss of skill in the general
population and increased state regulation and control are will
understood. However there are as yet unimagined consequences
of family responsibilities becoming market items. Imagine them
with us in a 1 day workshop.
