Welcome to The Hollywood Court Theater


We are an historic theater located in the heart of Hollywood, California. The HCT is a full service 99 seat theater available for production rental to theater groups as well as individuals. It is one of the oldest working theaters in the area, yet offers state of the art sound and lighting systems. It also offers a large, safe and convenient on-site parking lot for performers and audience, and there is a beautiful garden courtyard for intermission or post performance gathering.

 

 

Our currently featured play is emmy nominated writer Dalene Young's "Ghost Town" starring Nicki Callahan, Peggy Lord Chilton, Christina Hart, Kara Pulcino, Joe Stevens and Manny Suarez which premieres in September.

The HCT is also home to Class Act - Acting for Film and Television with Christina Hart for Intermediate and Beginning actors - Wednesday evenings, 7:30pm - 11:00pm.


The HCT is located at the corner of Highland and Franklin Avenues in the grounds of The Hollywood United Methodist Church, a towering Hollywood landmark. It is "freeway close," just one block north of the Hollywood and Highland cinema/shopping complex, and just a quarter mile south of the Highland exit off of the 101 freeway. Go To Map
