Hoffman's introduction to film making was working for indie producer
and director Roger Corman. For several years, Hoffman gained extensive
production experience working on several independent and studio movies
doing everything from PA, Gaffer, 2nd Assistant Camera Operator, Assistant
Editor and Script Supervisor. Hoffman got
his first writing job when he was hired by 20th Century Fox to write
a high concept, special effects screenplay for director Jan DeBont
("Twister," "Speed"). He was then hired to
write "Bitzi," an animated movie for Disney Feature Animation.
Hoffman has also been hired to write for several independent production
companies. "3719 Broadleaf Road" is Hoffman's directorial
debut. Hoffman is currently in preproduction on his first full length feature film. |
